Satu Limaye spreads on the table before him a pamphlet showing maps of the United States in various hues, each depicting different ways Asia affects the US. The pink one shows how many American jobs are directly related to exports to Asia, state by state. Such exports support 308,000 jobs in California, and from 2002 to 2006 Missouri was the state with the highest growth - 125% - at a time no extra jobs were created as a result of exports to the EU.
