“Weight. There’s more …” (July 14) struck a strong chord. Ten years ago, in my mid-fifties, I succumbed to media pressure and decided to go to the gym. At that time I was a size 26, but the true extent was somewhat muted because I’m tall. Therapy and self-examination had taken me to a place where I was relatively at peace with my size.
