GLOBAL WARNING Human fossil fuel use has contributed to this year’s record summer ice melt in the Arctic (“Sea change”, September 22), and yet the Government encourages coal and lignite mining and fracking for gas and wants to triple our petroleum exports. It is appalling that short term profits are used to justify adding yet more CO2 to the atmosphere.
