The Ridges. In some ways it beggars description. The Kardashians with rodents? Wayne Anderson with less cutting-edge fashion? I’m finding it helps to think of the series as an electronic contemporary Jafa version of Thackeray’s cautionary satire, Vanity Fair, with Sally Ridge as Becky Sharp. Just a girl trying to get by in the world, using whatever she’s got. Certainly there’s plenty of vanity; and a vast array of wares on sale. It seems everything on The Ridges is sponsored.
