Many find UK tabloid editor turned US TV host Piers Morgan difficult to like – loathsome even.

But he’s won many over with his campaign against liberal US gun laws in the wake of the Newtown shootings.

The success of the campaign could be measured, perhaps, in the emergence of a petition calling for Morgan to be deported to Britain for his stance.

One of the men behind the petition, Alex Jones, a campaigner and radio show host, has just appeared on Morgan’s programme. He’s all rage and finger-wave from the start.
