The New Zealand prime minister is off to see the Queen. Which is nice. And while you might argue that the award of New Zealand’s highest honour to her loyal husband is koha enough, he’s decided to take her another gift. Cheese.

Lovely as NZ cheese might be, does John Key realise what he’s up against?

If it’s not too late, I would politely suggest an alternative gift, which is cheesy, patriotic and Jubilee-appropriate, not to mention quick and easy to prepare.
