John Key is on Radio Live this afternoon, doing his DJ routine for the first time since that controversial appearance before the election last year.
Among his guests is the mighty David Frost.
Says Key:
Turning the tables on David Frost, the outstanding political interviewers of our time [sic], will be a nervous but immensely rewarding experience for me – and, I trust, for my listeners.
I expect it will be just like it was in the 70s, when Frost conducted a series of political interviews in New Zealand, right?
With thanks to NZ On Screen, here are Frost’s interviews with Prime Minister Norman Kirk (about a year before his death) and National leader Jack Marshall.
