The reliably brilliant David White snapped some splendid pics to accompany the Guyon Espiner interview with John Key for this week’s Listener.

Some fascinating detail in this photograph, with Key in full bouncer-stance, with deputy chief of staff Phil de Joux taking a call outside.

What is that hanging from the PM’s belt? Is that a picture of Prince Philip? What’s on the front page of that old Sunday Star Times framed behind him? Are tulips in season?

Anything else stand out for you? Let us know in the comments.

Meanwhile, so enamoured was Jackson James Wood by the cover image that he made it the wallpaper on his phone. Would you put that to your ear?

Sitting on John Keys desk is what looks like a very large book which may contain a list of the 99% of people who will suffer because of the current asset sales.

It looks like RD Muldoon is lurking in the reflection in extreme top right of the photo just above the window....

Jackson Wood would hold anything to his ear if he thought it would get him media coverage and high on the list for the Green Party next election, lets hope NZ keeps its good greens and doesn't get any off ones like JJW
