Choosing which books to give friends and relatives for Christmas, or of course to read yourself, is made easier each December with the New Zealand Listener’s special 100 Best Books of the Year issue. This list is New Zealand’s most comprehensive guide to the literary highlights of the past 12 months. And this year, as in previous years, the New Zealand Listener is offering readers the chance to win a set of all 100 books, in a giveaway worth more than $4000.
