John Dawson

John Dawson was co-winner last night, with photographer Rob Lucas, of the Illustrated Non-Fiction (not as I say in the podcast the General Non-Fiction) and Book of the Year awards at the New Zealand Post Book Awards for New Zealand’s Native Trees (Craig Potton, $120).

I spoke to him this morning – at some length (which is why it has taken such an age to download the damned Audioboo recording, but Dawson deals with trees, so he is more relaxed than most about things going slowly).
