AMOUR A harrowing, beautiful masterpiece, built around two achingly good performances. 5/5 ARGO A likeable, competent thriller about the 1979 Iran hostage crisis. Last year’s best picture? Hardly, and its award has probably done it no favours in the long run. But lower your expectations and it’s a fun night out. 4/5 BEAUTIFUL CREATURES Just a pallid Twilight imitation?
