Who was the biggest winner and biggest loser when the All Blacks were named? The answer to both questions is Piri Weepu. The biggest winner in that, going on Super 15 form, he didn’t deserve to be there, and certainly not at Andy Ellis’s expense; the biggest loser in that, as he proudly told the media, he has lost 10kg since the start of the season. Some have blamed Blues chief executive Andy Dalton and coach Pat Lam for Weepu’s weight problem.
