If you had to choose a poster boy to mark the baby boomers’ cresting of the demographic bubble, it would be hard to go past actor Bill Nighy. He didn’t find serious success until his 50s, and these days, even as a pale, thin, glamorously desiccated and perennially unassuming 62-year-old, he’s increasingly “getting the girl” in his movies.
