• Highlights for the 2010 season on New Zealand TV: FlashForward (TV2); Castle (TV1); New Zealand drama This Is Not Your Life, starring Charles Mesure; Cougar Town (TV2); The Good Wife (TV3); Modern Family (TV3); awesome gameshow QI (Prime); Last Chance to See (Prime); and Being Human (Prime).

• Ever wondered what sitcom veteran Larry Charles looks like? Well, he definitely owns some Bob Marley records, if this pic from Variety is anything to go by. Also, it looks like The Big Bang Theory bandwagon has begun.

Here's why "douche" is the new "jerk" on American television.

• Looks like Kiwi actor Cliff Curtis' career in US television is going to be short-lived. The Hollywood Reporter, er, reports that the show he stars in, Trauma is not going to be picked up for a second season. Reviews were good for Curtis' performance, however, so he may find the job offers coming in. He is interviewed by TV Guide here.

• They’re only just seeing True Blood in the UK now; The Guardian talked with Rutina Wesley (Tara) and Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette) here.

• If you love The Wire like we do, you’ll love this interview with David Simon at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
