Wellington: Culinary capital

For a city that’s tucked in the hills around the harbour on the very end of the North Island, with scarce surrounding arable land, Wellington punches well above its weight in all matters culinary. I went there on a mission to see what new artisan products and suppliers I could find, and to taste a few treats in its cafes and restaurants. The best place to get close to any city’s belly is the market. As it was midweek, I missed the wonderful Sunday City Market at Chaffers Dock, but there’s always Moore Wilson’s.
