A “glittering, black-tie event”, the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards 2012 dinner is coming up in mid-March. For $245, you can enjoy a dégustation dinner in Auckland that showcases 15 trophy-winning wines. You can also find out who will be this year’s inductee to the New Zealand Wine Hall of Fame. Launched in 2005, the Hall of Fame’s objective is to recognise those who have made major contributions to wine.
